(Kolkata – Digha Friendship Cup) cum cricket tour.
From the Invitation to Digha
Thanders Club, our team had started the journey from Dharmatala(Esplanade) at
12 P.M on 30th March by A.C Bus. We had arrived on the evening at Digha and
stayed on best five-star hotels in Digha i.e. J. D. International Hotel. On
this evening, our team members are hanging around nearby areas and also sea
beaches.
Our match was starting from next
day i.e 31st March. It was a total of 40 over’s match. But we lost our
1st match. Our Score was 122, but they take over the ran within 7 wickets. The
next day we had a comeback position. They had all out within 147 runs and for
our win; we had complete the match within 6 wickets. In this match, our Captain
Dipankar Sharma Played a pivotal role in front (54 Not Out). The last match was the Final. Our
team member Mr. Soumyojit Ganguli chases a brilliant score of 95 Runs. We had
got wonderful experience from Kolkata – Digha Friendship Cup and every player
enjoyed the match.
Last two days we were on Digha
tour. Our all team members hang around nearby areas in Digha like Orissa
Border, Dhewsagar, Amravati Park, New Digha Sea Beach, Digha Mohona, Talsari
Beach, Old Digha Biswa Bangla Park, etc. We depart from Digha on 4th
April by Super Volvo AC Bus.
