Our Mentors

Sandipan Das

Sandipan Das is an Indian First-class and List A Cricketer currently playing for Bengal. He has played for them in 2012-13 Ranji Trophy and 2013 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He was a part of the 2012 World Cup winning squad of the India Under-19 cricket team. He is appointed as "Batting Mentor" of the academy.

Boddupalli Amit

Boddupalli Amit is an Indian cricketer.He made his List A debut on 27 February 2014, for Bengal in the 2013–14 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He made his first-class debut for Bengal in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy on 6 October 2017. He is appointed as "Pacer Mentor" of the academy.

Satyabrata Murmu

Satyabrata Murmu is an Indian cricketer. He has played in Ranji Trophy for Bengal, Bengal U-22 and Bengal U-19. He is appointed as "Wicket Keeping Mentor" of the academy.

Bapi Manna

Bapi Manna is a well known name in C.A.B Super Division League. He has played for Bengal U-22. He is a well known spinner and also has the achievement for obtaining highest wicket in C.A.B Super Division League for quite a few times. He is appointed as "Spinner Mentor" of the academy.

Sayan Ghosh

Sayan Ghosh is an Indian cricketer who plays for Bengal. He made his first-class debut on 7 November 2015 in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy. In February 2017, he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders team. In January 2018, he was bought by the Delhi Capitals in the 2018 IPL auction. He was also the part of Kings XI Punjab team. He is appointed as “Pacer Mentor” of the academy.

CHIEF COACH

TUHIN BOSE

TUHIN BOSE is the founder of CRICKET ACADEMY OF SPECIALISATION. He has been playing club cricket since 2011 till current years. He has represented Premier division clubs like kalighat Club, Barisha Sporting Club and 1st division club like Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club & Young Bengal. He is still playing regularly club cricket. He has also played 2nd division club cricket.

He was a trainee of VISION 20-20 project under the aegis of The Cricket association of Bengal under the guidence of international cricketers like V.V.S Laxman, Muttiah Muralitharan. He being an experienced net bowler, has bowled in the International cricket teams and IPL (INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE) nets. He has represented UNIVERSITY OF CALCUTTA in the inter-University tournaments and college cricket team(Asutosh College) in inter college tournament under the aegis of University of Calcutta & Red bull campus cricket.He also played U-17 and 95 & 110 points tournaments.


He is certified with "LEVEL-O" coaching certificate under the aegis Cricket Association Bengal and N.C.A (National Cricket Academy). Certified in “COACH CORNER CONFERENCE” certificate under sportz village academics (National Skill Development Corporation{NSDC} Govt. of INDIA). Currently he is the coach of Eastern Command (Indian Army) and coach of Wari Athletic Club.

  • Coaching and training the Club teams to play high level matches.
  • Boosting the confidence of students to strengthen their mentality and views towards the sport they play in.


HEAD COACH

MANISH ROY

Manish Roy is the assistant-chief coach of CRICKET ASSOCIATION OF SPECIALISATION. He has played for Barisha Sporting Club in Kolkata club cricket under the aegis of CRICKET ASSOCIATION OF BENGAL. He has played in district level in under-16 and under-19 in age group categories. He has also played in Siliguri Super Division League.

He is experienced in coaching for more than 5years and also has B.A degree in "Physical Education" under University of Calcutta.

He is certified with "LEVEL-1" Coaching under the aegis and guidelines of NCA(National Cricket Academy) Certificate.

SENIOR TRAINER

AVISHEK MAJUMDER

Avishek Majumdar, senior instructor of training in the academy. He is well established certified trainer of high standard and qualification.. He has been associated with reputed gym like Golds gym Alipore, Endorphins, Talwalkar, Bemefit, Ncore fitness.

He is certified with :

a) Expert in integrative movement system ( video conference course) under Fitness Education Seminar in 2014.

b) Smart Preps for Physique Building under Gayo Fitness Academy in 2015.

c) Animal Flow LEVEL-3 in 2019.

d) Energy Kettlebell Fitness Academy Asia (EKFA) and is also certified in LEVEL-3 kettlebell instructor.

f) He is now All-India Kettlebell champion in 2020 and Kettlebell training expert.

g) He is also a designated member of Australian Council of Sports.

h) He is now Prehab and Rehab Specialist.

i) He is also an Olympic Weightlifting Training Specialist.

j) He is now a Running Injury Specialist.


JUNIOR TRAINER

SAPAN KUMAR PUHAN(AADI)

He is the junior assistant trainer at CRICKET ACADEMY OF SPECIALISATION.. He has represented U-14 Orrissa Cricket Association, Corporate cricket league for Tata Steel, Inter College tournament under aegis of Calcutta University; Gajodhar league in Nagpur.

He is certified in trainning at Personal training Progressive Movement level-3  and BFY Level-4.

Muscleblaze certified "Athlete"

He is also doing BFY Nutrition course.

JR. ASSISTANT COACH

APURBA PRADHAN

Apurba Pradhan has been a regular player in 1st and 2nd division interclub tournaments organized by Cricket Association of Bengal. He is in charge of skill development and fielding coaching of the young students age group between 05 years to 10 Years. He is also a throwdown specialist.

AVINASH SHAW

Avinash Shaw has been a regular player in 1st and 2nd division interclub tournaments organized by Cricket Association of Bengal. He is in charge of special grooming and skill development of the young students age group between 10 years to 14 Years.

VIDEO ANALYST EXPERT

AVISHEK DAS


Avishek Das is the video analyst expert in the academy. He is usually involved in drone and bumble camera analysis.

Video Analysis (VA) is vitally important to the development of all cricketers. Particularly used in one-to-one sessions, it allows you and the coach to look repeatedly at the whole action in real time or slow-motion, forward or back. It allows you to focus in on specific parts of a bowling action or zoom in on your batting grip. VA ensures that the feedback to the player is absolutely spot on and the rate of learning and development is subsequently accelerated.

VIDEO ANALYST EXPERT

TUHIN MARICK


Tuhin Marick is the video analyst expert in the academy. He is usually associate with action camera analysis and traditional camera set up analysis.

ASSISTANT COACH IN-CHARGE

JACKY SHAW


Jacky Shaw has been a regular player in 1st and 2nd division interclub tournaments organized by Cricket Association of Bengal. Experienced in Club cricket for more than ten years.

He is in charge of skill development and fielding coaching of the young students of age group between 14 years to 19 years. He was a member of All-Bengal District School  (under-13). He also represent University Games (University of Calcutta) in Ajoy Ghosh, T20 University Tournament, East Zone as well as in Vizzy Trophy. He also represent North 24 Parganas District in Under-19 level in Inter-District Tournament. Experienced in coaching for more than three years.
